My experience with Patanjali Herbal Sindur/ Suhag Teeka
Packaging
Patanjali Suhag Tika comes in very simple lipstick like bullet packaging. It has marron and golden plastic body with a transparent cap which has Patanjali suhag tika written on it with maroon letters.I do not find this lipstick to be very much travel friendly because cap doesn’t shuts tightly and can really be messy while it’s in your handbag.
Consistency
It glides very smoothly on skin and doesn’t feel waxy at all .Patanjali Suhag Tika has narrow pointed ends So it is easy to apply thin line on forehead as well as can be used to put a small bindi on your forehead with good precision. But gradually the ends become blunt.
Pigmentation
The Sindoor is really highly pigmented.Only one swipe is sufficient for the proper colour to show up on your skin.So yes on pigmentation side I would give this sindoor 5 out 5.Trust me it’s really well pigmented.
Shade
There is only one available shade of this Sindoor “Maroon” ,Which is of course not sufficient because there are people including me who loves to apply red sindoor.I do not use this sindoor very often as I said I love red sindoor more so It would have been great if they had more shades like proper red.
As per me it’s kind of purplish maroon which looks gorgeous when applied So if you like maroon sindoor then this shade is apt for you.I love only red sindoor so I used it few times and then I switched back to my Shahnaz Husain Sindoor in red.
I have been using this for a week and I have not experience any skin itching or irritation so far.It is easy to apply and stays put for whole day long .If you just pour water over it or you are sweating it will not smudge but can easily removed with the help of soap water or any face wash .
What I liked in Patanjali Herbal Sindur/ Suhag Teeka
- Beautiful maroon shade
- Easy to apply
- Does not irritate skin
- Herbal ingredients
- Inexpensive
- Lasts really long
- Somewhat smudge proof once it sets in
What I did not like  in Patanjali Herbal Sindur/ Suhag Teeka
- Not So Travel Friendly
- Only one available shade
Rating – 4.5/5
Will I purchase again ? – Personally I will not, because I like red sindoor but if you like wearing maroon then of course you can give this a try and I am sure it will not disappoint you
Final Take : Overall Patanjali Herbal Sindur/ Suhag Teeka is a good day to day use Sindoor which is budget friendly as well as herbal so you can pick it up if you love going natural But make sure that you like maroon sindoor because it has only one available shade and that’s maroon.
Have you tried Patanjali Herbal Sindur/ Suhag Teeka ? How was your experience ?Don’t forget to share with us.We will be more than happy to hear you back.
Till then Stay Healthy and Keep Smiling 🙂 🙂
With Love,
Preeti
